"Go, Mommy!!"
Lately, every red light I come to irritates the daylights out of the kids. I immediately get whining demands from my two little backseat drivers, "Go, Mommy, go!"
"It's red," I say. "I can't go. Other cars are coming. Be patient."
I wonder if God feels like that with me. I am riding along with him until we come to a stop. I say, "God, what's going on? Why are we stopped? I don't like being still. I can't see what is ahead, but I don't like just sitting here waiting."
There are so many parallels between the behavior of my children due to their inexperience and my behavior due to my mistrust and lack of faith.
The bible says, " Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10
