We have our first post-adoption homestudy in the morning. We are officially 6 weeks in! To reflect on the past year is completely overwhelming... designing and building our home, moving, adopting a 2-year-old, raising our other two preschoolers, international mission work, etc... There's a lot of paperwork involved with all of this. I took the kids to the Farmer's Market this morning. Amongst other things, we bought sunflowers to take to our nursing home friend, Mrs. Faye. The kids used them as brooms, swords, twirling batons, etc... they probably won't make it through the night at the nursing home.
